TVR was founded by Trevor Wilkinson in 1954.It later amalgamated with Grantura Plastics to make cars off a small assembly line. The model TVR Griffith was initially called Grantura and was not very successful. Jack Griffith, a New York motor dealer then tried mounting a ford V-8 engine into Grantura. This resulted into birth of the TVR Griffith. It had a lightweight and propelled to speeds of 155mph thanks to a powerful engine. The model was stopped due to quality issue and lengthy strikes by dock workers. It was then replaced with a TVR Tuscan which was also scrapped due to poor sales. TVR has changed ownership and refinancing more than five times and had relative success along the way.

The sagaris has a top speed of 190 mph and accelerates to 100km in 3.6 seconds.TVR cerbera is a sports car with a 4.2 litre engine that produces 350 horsepower with speed of 185 mph. The TVR T350C is a race car similar to the Tamora sport car. They share almost the same things except that the TVR T350C is lighter. The TVR Tamora is a sports car with space for two people. It’s fitted with a 3.6 litre 6-cylinder engine and having maximum speed of 160 mph. The TVR Tuscan sports car comes with dive different engine options. Speed and performance depends on the choice of engine .However, it can accelerate to 100mph in just 8.08 seconds.
